Into the Depths

The battle on Jeju Island escalates as an evolved magic beast swiftly decimates two Japanese S-Rank hunters before they even realize what’s happening. Meanwhile, inside the queen ant’s lair, the Korean S-Rank hunters, including Baek Yoonho, Ma Dongwook, Cha Hae-in, Lim Tae-Gyu, and Choi Jong-in, continue their desperate fight. With S-Rank healer Min Byung-gu providing crucial support, they carve their way through the seemingly endless swarm of magic ants.

Baek Yoonho, using his enhanced vision, spots the queen ant deep inside the lair. The group prepares to move forward, unaware of the impending horror waiting for them.

Outside, two more Japanese S-Rank hunters search for their missing comrades, only to encounter the evolved magic beast. Before they can react, they too meet a swift and brutal end.

Unleashed

Inside the queen’s chamber, the Korean hunters find themselves surrounded by a horde of royal guard ants. The battle intensifies as Ma Dongwook activates his defensive abilities, doubling in size, while Choi Jong-in engulfs the guards in flames. Baek Yoonho unleashes his transformation, turning into a half-tiger with glowing eyes and razor-sharp claws, slashing through enemies with terrifying ferocity.

With the battle broadcasted live to all of Korea, citizens watch in awe as their hunters push forward. Lim Tae-Gyu rains down magic arrows, eliminating the last of the royal guards. Finally, the queen herself is left standing.

The hunters unleash their combined attacks on the monstrous queen. As she retaliates, spewing a deadly noxious gas, Byung-gu steps in, healing his allies just in time. The combined might of fire, magic, arrows, and blades overwhelms the queen, and Cha Hae-in delivers the final blow, severing its head.

For a brief moment, victory seems assured… but the battle is far from over.

Backup Arrives… But So Does the Real Threat

The queen’s dying scream acts as a call to arms, summoning every remaining ant on Jeju Island back to the lair. Choi Jong-in senses his magical defenses crumbling as a new, terrifying presence enters the battlefield—the evolved magic beast, a humanoid black ant.

The Korean hunters immediately sense the creature’s overwhelming power. Cha Hae-in collapses from its sheer aura, and in an instant, the beast attacks. With shocking speed, it takes out Cha with a single blow, rips Ma Dongwook’s arms clean off, and delivers devastating wounds to Baek and Choi. Just as it is about to finish Lim Tae-Gyu, Ma miraculously blocks the attack—his arms completely restored thanks to Byung-gu’s healing abilities.

Realizing their dire situation, Byung-gu attempts to use Camouflage to heal his allies unseen. But the evolved beast sees through his invisibility, impaling him through the chest. With his dying breath, Byung-gu tells Baek Yoonho to run.

The Hunter Becomes the Hunted

Baek Yoonho, barely clinging to consciousness, finds himself in the grip of the black ant. To his horror, the creature speaks. It declares that the Korean hunters are too weak for it and demands to fight their "king" to avenge its queen.

Meanwhile, outside the lair, Japanese S-Rank hunter Ryuji Goto and his team search for their missing comrades. Just as they find the gruesome remains, Goto receives a shocking order from his guild master, Chairman Matsumoto—leave the Koreans to die. The Japanese hunters will move in later to eliminate the remaining ants and claim all the glory for themselves.

However, the black ant has other plans. It blitzes toward Goto, effortlessly shattering his sword and rendering him defenseless.

Exchange

Inside the lair, the remaining Korean hunters fight desperately against the overwhelming wave of magic ants. Severely injured and exhausted, they struggle to hold their ground.

But just as all hope seems lost, an army of shadows emerges from the darkness.

Jinwoo’s shadow soldiers descend upon the battlefield, shielding the hunters from certain death.

And miles away, with his eyes glowing with immense power, Sung Jinwoo utters a single word—“Exchange.”

With this, the real battle is about to begin.
